I know this has absolutely nothing to do with the current Pure Candy plot, but I just had to.
Candy wants to be a superhero and he resents the fact that he's the only one who wasn't affected by the radioactivity. All of his friends are mutants or have special qualities (Because if there's anything comic books and TV have taught us is that radioactivity gives you powers.) So he fantasizes about his super alter ego while he watches over Pure. I had another name for him in mind, but lots of people were already calling him Candyman, so what the hell ;D It sounds nice.
